Fishing the Middle Spey at Craigellachie

During my last week in the UK I will be Salmon Fishing on the River Spey. I have been coming to Scotland for more than 20-yrs now to fish for the Atlantic Salmon & Sea Trout and have experienced many of the fine beats along the river from its mouth at Spey Bay to Laggan at its headwaters.

On this trip I will be putting my new Sage Method 15′ spey rod & 6000 Series reel through the paces. I can hardly wait to see how it casts in the cool, wet & windy weather that we have been experiencing this past week.

I will report in at the end of the week to let you know how I did on this trip.

During the month of May I wrote two articles/blogs on Privacy Engineering, along with presenting on the topic at the Software Defined Anything Symposium in London. From the feedback I have received so far there is a very strong interest in this topic and its potential impact on the future of Big Data & Analytics as a viable activity.

For those are interested; here are links to my two articles;
